Available in both English and French, this digital tool showcases 8 catalytic levers for transforming agrifood systems in the Mediterranean and 38 inspiring experiences telling the stories of people and organizations committed to driving change through mutual learning, cooperation and innovative ideas.

The levers for transformation respond to the trends, priorities and challenges identified in most Mediterranean countries that have developed pathways towards agrifood systems transformation as part of their engagement in the United Nations Food Systems Summit process.
With the UN Food Systems Summit +4 Stocktake approaching, these strategic but practical entry points to transformation prove very relevant to the Mediterranean and beyond, and underscore how regional cooperation around key levers can inspire positive change in agrifood systems.
Drawing on four years of dialogue, peer exchange and shared learning through the SFS-MED Platform, the tool embodies a core message: transformation is already underway. All across the Mediterranean, from city-level innovation to cross-sector alliances, each experience shows what’s possible when we build bridges between policies, practices, people and cultures.
