Join our hybrid event on 29 September to discuss the role of youth-led projects and research for the sustainable development of the Mediterranean
On 29 September 2023, SDSN Mediterranean and SDSN Youth Mediterranean invite you to the hybrid event “Youth-led projects for the sustainable development of the Mediterranean: the network of SDSN (Youth) Med”. The event takes place along the initiatives organized by the University of Siena on the occasion of the European Researchers’ Night (Bright Night) and will be hosted by Santa Chiara Lab (Siena, Italy) and online.
More information on the program and the link for online attendance soon available here.
The event aims to give a space to young people who are passionate about sustainable development and to provide a platform for young innovators and researchers from the Mediterranean region to showcase their sustainability projects that are led by youth or focused on youth involvement. The speakers will present their research and initiatives related to sustainability in the Mediterranean, with a specific focus on the agri-food sector.
In addition to showcasing individual projects, SDSN Youth Mediterranean and other SDSN Youth Networks will also present their activities during the event. These activities are designed to inspire, engage, and mobilize young people to actively contribute to sustainable development efforts. One notable initiative that will be presented is the Mediterranean Youth Solutions Report 2022. This report showcases various youth-led projects that demonstrate how young people are driving innovation within the agri-food sector in the Mediterranean region.
