Call for students and Higher Education Institutions for the future of Universities and their actions on the SDGs
As part of EXPO 2020 DUBAI, the Italian University Network for Sustainable Development (RUS) is organizing the Forum “Universities in action for the UN 2030 Agenda“ on 18 January 2022. International institutions of higher education, along with students, will have the opportunity to discuss and imagine the role of universities within the UN Decade of Action centred on the three Ps: People, Planet and Prosperity.
The Forum aims to stimulate culture and actions for sustainability leaving the stage to the visions of the young generations for the university of the future and to showcase the best practices already underway by universities around the world for the three Ps.
Call for students
Students can send short videos with their ideas on the future of Higher Education Institutions. The best videos will be edited into three different collage-videos focusing on People – Planet – Prosperity.
Call for Higher Education Institutions – HEIs
Higher Education Institutions can send a video describing their best practice on one of the following topics: People, Planet, Prosperity. The best videos will be showcased in the worldwide arena.
Deadline for both calls: 15 September 2021
The Forum is organized by RUS in partnership with the Italian Pavilion at EXPO 2020 DUBAI and with the collaboration of the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS).
