In September 2020, SDSN launched Accelerating Education for the SDGs in Universities, a guide to inspire and empower universities, colleges, and tertiary and higher education institutions to provide all their learners with the knowledge, skills and mindsets to contribute to solving the world’s sustainable development challenges.
For this purpose, universities around the world were invited to submit case studies of how they are already implementing and supporting education for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A selection of the many innovative cases that were received is showcased here.
SDSN is now launching a new call for case studies to help capture the rapidly expanding work of higher education institutions in the field of sustainable development, and the amazing diversity and innovation of approaches. The new set of selected cases will be added to the existing website and launched during the 2021 International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD).
Case studies will be selected based on the innovativeness of their approach, the extent of their impact (in terms of their ability to reach and transform learners), potential for replicability and scaling up in other university contexts, and the conciseness and clarity of the case information submitted.
The deadline for submissions is 28 April 2021.
