2020 Report “Sustainable Development in the Mediterranean”: online presentation and discussion with a keynote speech by Jeffrey Sachs
SDSN Mediterranean and its hosting institution, Santa Chiara Lab – University of Siena, will present online the 2° edition of the Report “Sustainable Development in the Mediterranean – Transformations to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”, which will be held on November 12, at 15:15 (CET).
The publication, realized by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network for the Mediterranean, Santa Chiara Lab, and the global Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), examines the progress of 24 Mediterranean countries towards the SDGs with the aim to identify and drive a roadmap to achieve sustainable development in the region.
The event will see the participation of Professor Jeffrey Sachs, global leader of SDSN and outstanding expert in sustainable development, Professor Angelo Riccaboni, Chair of SDSN Mediterranean, and Ambassador Nasser Kamel, Secretary-General of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM). Relevant experts from national SDSN Networks and member institutions will also join the debate to discuss the Report’s results and share their remarks on the solutions and policies indicated by the authors.
The event will be held in English and will be broadcast in live streaming on the Santa Chiara Lab and the University of Siena’s social media channels.
